Habitat For Humanity—Build Three Homes In Liberty
Located at South Fayetteville St (Hwy 49) is the future home of three lots that will house new homes to be built by Habitat for Humanity of Randolph County. Currently Habitat is looking for families in need of homes in the Liberty area. Do you know a family that is living in unsafe, unsanitary or overcrowded conditions? Do you know a family that has a low, but stable income and can make affordable house payments? Do you know a family that would be willing to work with volunteers to build their own home? If you could answer any of these question, please read on. Very soon, Habitat for Humanity will begin building these homes in Liberty. If you can answer yes for your family (or know of a family that can answer yes) to the questions above, please contact the Habitat at 625-1429. They are now currently taking applications. Want to volunteer or donate to this cause? Call them to learn how you can be part of this great community service coming to the area. The Habitat recently received rezoning through the town to make the next steps in the process. In the next weeks you will see construction of the home footings. Also inside you will see the stories on the upcoming trip from Georgia Bulldogs to help with the building. See there other opportunities on where you can help also. How exciting to see this great opportunity in our area.
