College Scholarships
The Mental Health Association & Helpline in Randolph is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for residents of Randolph County. To be eligible for consideration of the scholarships, students must be planning to be a full-time student in undergraduate or graduate school the fall of 2008 and plan to work on a degree in the mental health field.

The Dave Rooks Memorial Scholarship was established to honor his long time work in the mental health field in Randolph County. As a result of the continued support of the family of Mr. Rooks and the Asheboro Civitans Club, two $500 scholarships will be awarded to two students. Each scholarship is paid to the recipient’s school of choice.

The deadline for submitting an application is March 31, 2008. All forms must be complete and all required documents must be postmarked by the deadline date.
