We are currently updating this section of the website. It's a common question—is this life all there is? Because even when life is going well, there's still a nagging void— one that can't be filled with people, possessions or success. We sense that something, or someone, has called us up higher— on a journey of intimacy, adventure and fulfillment. At a local church they are discovering God's answers together. Come join them this Sunday and find your place in a community of explorers. The answer might be closer than you think.
Liberty Association Of Churches Thanks You and Need Request We at the LAC would like to thank everyone for all the donations of food we have been getting. We thought we would give an updated list of food items that we are still in need of. We are seeing an increase in the number of people with high blood pressure (heart problems) and diabetes. Due to that we are in need of specialty items as follows: no salt vegetables, no salt tomatoes, unsalted crackers, low sodium tuna, sugar free drink mix, unsweetened applesauce, sugar free jelly and peanut butter, and no sugar fruit. Other needs we have are canned chicken and salmon for both are low in salt and healthy. Also we need spaghetti and sauce, oatmeal, corn bread mix, dry milk, dry pinto beans, dry black eye peas, dry rice (white and brown), canned yams/sweet potatoes and fruit. We at the emergency assistance office are trying to help as many people as we can and without the support the community we would not be able to do it. We are also trying to give people food that is good, nutritious and healthy. That is why we are asking for the whole grain products, as well as low salt and sugar free items, so we can help those in need maintain their health.
When it comes to raising kids and maintaining your marriage, some outside help can make all the difference between success and failure. Sure, you can't transform your family life in seven days like they do on TV; but with GOD, He can help you begin the project. To build a successful family in today's world we need help from the "Master Architect" - visit one of the area Churches and discover God's blueprint for remodeling your family. The blueprint starts with the BIBLE. Pick up your copy today. Start Building Your House Today. Plans for that perfect one is waiting for you.
